很多同学写英语作文时，一提到”比较”就是 more…than，一提”对比”就是 but… 两个词走天下。不是不对，是太单调了。

基础升级：别再只用 more…than
同一意思，3种表达：

对比结构：从 but 到平行对仗
初级写法：

升级写法（平行结构 + 对比连词）：
While some students prefer independent study for its flexibility, others are drawn to group learning for the collaborative dynamic it fosters.
进阶写法（倒装对比）：
Unlike solitary learners who value autonomy, group learners thrive on interaction.
雅思Task 1必备：数据比较句式
写图表作文，至少掌握这3类句式：
1. 倍数比较
- The figure for A is three times as high as that for B.
- A accounts for twice the percentage of B.
2. 差距描述
- The gap between A and B widened significantly from 2010 to 2020.
- A overtook B in 2015 and maintained its lead thereafter.
3. 相似比较
- A and B followed a similar pattern, both peaking in 2018.
- The trend for A mirrored that of B, albeit at a lower level.

初级版：
Online education is more convenient than traditional education. But traditional education is better for communication.
升级版：
While online education offers unparalleled convenience in terms of flexible scheduling, traditional face-to-face education outperforms its digital counterpart in fostering real-time interaction and spontaneous discussion. The two approaches, rather than competing, complement each other in addressing different learning needs.
区别明显吗？高级版的每个比较都有具体维度（convenience in scheduling vs interaction in discussion），而不是笼统地说”好”或”不好”。

写作文时别一上来就写比较。先把两件事物各自的特点写清楚，比较自然就出来了。比较不是目的——让读者看出你的立场才是目的。
