The founder of one of Russia’s largest cyber security companies has been arrested on suspicion of state treason and will be held in a notorious prison run by the security services for the next two months, a Moscow court said on Wednesday.

The charges against Ilya Sachkov, founder of Group-IB, are classified and details of them were not immediately clear. State-run news agency Tass cited an anonymous source who said Sachkov denied passing on secret information to foreign intelligence services.

Group-IB, which specialises in preventing cyber crime and ransomware, confirmed that law enforcement raided its officers yesterday but said it did not know the reason for Sachkov’s arrest. “Group-IB’s team is confident in the innocence of the company’s CEO and his business integrity,” the company said in a statement.

The company, which is headquartered in Singapore, is an official partner of Interpol and Europol and has hosted senior international law enforcement officials at its conferences in Moscow. Its private sector clients include BP, Microsoft, DHL, and several major Russian state-owned companies.

The founder of one of Russia’s largest cyber security companies has been arrested on suspicion of state treason… a Moscow court said on Wednesday.

The charges against Ilya Sachkov, founder of Group-IB, are classified…

Group-IB…confirmed that law enforcement raided its officers yesterday…

Many people say that technology has changed our lives. For example, we use phones every day. Also, the Internet is very important…(主题不明确)Technology has transformed daily life in three fundamental ways. First, smartphones have changed how we communicate. Second, the Internet has reshaped how we access information…
There was a car accident yesterday. I saw it on my way to school. The driver was hurt but not too badly. (没有主题句,信息散乱)A serious car accident occurred on my way to school yesterday morning. The driver sustained minor injuries, according to the police report.
(中文思维,英文需要主题句)Smartphones have both advantages and disadvantages. On the one hand, they provide instant access to information. On the other hand, excessive use can lead to addiction.

  • Online learning has reshaped how students acquire knowledge. Unlike traditional classrooms, online platforms offer flexible schedules that allow students to learn at their own pace.
  • Air pollution in major cities has reached alarming levels. According to recent data, PM2.5 levels exceeded the safe limit on 200 days last year alone.
  • The government’s new policy has produced mixed results. While it reduced traffic congestion by 15 per cent, it also increased commuting costs for low-income families.

Group-IB, which specialises in preventing cyber crime and ransomware, confirmed that law enforcement raided its officers yesterday → (主题句:公司确认被搜查)

but said it did not know the reason for Sachkov’s arrest.

“Group-IB’s team is confident in the innocence of the company’s CEO and his business integrity,” the company said in a statement.

The company, which is headquartered in Singapore, is an official partner of Interpol and Europol → (主题句:公司身份和可信度)

and has hosted senior international law enforcement officials at its conferences in Moscow.

Its private sector clients include BP, Microsoft, DHL, and several major Russian state-owned companies.

  • Social media has changed how teenagers communicate. Instead of face-to-face conversations, many now rely on instant messaging and short video platforms to maintain friendships.

或”Many experts believe…”

“Group-IB’s team is confident in the innocence of the company’s CEO and his business integrity,” the company said in a statement.

  2. 明确指出来源 — “the company said in a statement” 而不是模糊的”some people said”

State-run news agency Tass cited an anonymous source who said Sachkov denied passing on secret information to foreign intelligence services.

Some people think uniforms are good for school.”Uniforms create a sense of equality and reduce bullying among students,” said Professor Li, an education researcher at Beijing Normal University.
Many experts say exercise is healthy.”Regular exercise reduces the risk of heart disease by 40 per cent,” noted Dr. Wang, a cardiologist at Peking University.
The company said it was successful.”Our programme proved vital in reducing operational costs,” the company stated in its annual report.

  • “This investment will create over 2,000 local jobs,” stated the CEO during the project launch.
  • A government report cited health officials who said air quality had improved by 30 per cent over five years.

There are many reasons. First… Second… Third…(机械并列)One key reason is economic pressure.Beyond economics, there is also a social dimension to consider.
My city is big. It also has good food.(并列但无推进)My city is one of the largest in China.Beyond its size, what truly sets it apart is its unique food culture.

段落过渡模板: [前一段结论] → Beyond [前段话题], there is also [新话题]... / While [前段事实] is true, what is equally important is [新角度]...

  • While the economic benefits of the policy are clear, what is equally important is its social impact on local communities.
  • Beyond the immediate environmental concerns, the new regulation also raises important questions about corporate responsibility.

Write a paragraph about the importance of public libraries.

Public libraries are good. People can read books there. Also they have computers. Many students go there to study. Sometimes they have events. I think libraries should get more money.

Public libraries play a vital role in modern communities. (主题句) Unlike private bookstores, they provide free access to books, computers, and educational resources for all residents regardless of income. (展开说明) A 2024 survey found that over 60 per cent of students use their local library for homework and research, and 45 per cent of job seekers rely on its free Internet service. (数据细节) “Libraries are the last truly public spaces where anyone can learn without paying,” said Professor Zhang, an urban studies researcher. (引语佐证) Beyond education, libraries also serve as community hubs that host reading clubs, language classes, and cultural events.
